Mutual Aide Brush Fire

At approximately 11:55 Saturday morning the Buchanan and Montrose fire departments were dispatched to the rear of the Buchanan Home Center for a large area brush fire. When units arrived on scene they reported at least one acre burning and spreading rapidly. Command requested UTV's from Montrose and Verplanck to the scene. 2ND Alarm in Continental Village

At approximately 05:13 HRS one Engine was requested to relocate to the Continental Village Fire Headquarters to cover their district while they operated at a Second Alarm of fire on Sprout Brook Rd. While assembling a crew command requested a tanker assignment which brought Engine 128 to the fill site at CVFD HQ.
