The Verplanck Fire District announces that the proposition to authorize the sale or transfer of the “Schoolhouse Building” located at 210 6th Street in Verplanck has not been approved by voters. On Friday December 29,2023 around 4pm the Verplanck Fire Department was dispatched to Steamboat dock for a body found floating near the shoreline.
