At approximately 05:13 HRS one Engine was requested to relocate to the Continental Village Fire Headquarters to cover their district while they operated at a Second Alarm of fire on Sprout Brook Rd. While assembling a crew command requested a tanker assignment which brought Engine 128 to the fill site at CVFD HQ. In NYS when you see a vehicle approaching with a BLUE or GREEN Flashing Light in your rear-view mirror it is a VOLUNTEER Firefighter or EMT responding to either a Fire or Ambulance Call. These personnel need to get to the firehouse/EMS station or to the scene as quickly as possible to render the service needed in a timely fashion.
